Research
Can you get from a sick cell to a molecule that helps it?
I work on both halves: finding the target in single-cell data from diseased brains, and using machine learning to
design molecules that act on it.
What I would like it to be good for:
- Alzheimer's
- Reversing inflammation rather than managing it
- Slowing aging down, and eventually reversing some of it
Things I am excited about
- AGI
- Interpretability, and whether models can be trusted about themselves
- Latency as a design constraint rather than an optimization
